📋 Description

• Advise on structured and unstructured analytic models to solve complex data problems with consistency, reusability, and quality • Develop, deliver, enhance, integrate, maintain, and support IT infrastructure, data, products, solutions, and services • Create and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models with Data Science, Product Management, Development, and Research teams • Lead complex data-solution design and implementation across teams using Premier methodology • Translate prototypes into products, services, and features with developers and architects • Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models, ML, AI, NLP, and advanced algorithms • Produce solutions through exploratory analysis of complex, high-dimensional datasets • Serve as a subject matter expert across business domains including Cost, Clinical, and MDM • Participate in data exploration and conceptual design for strategic initiatives • Generate and test hypotheses and analyze product experiment results • Gather and document business and IT requirements • Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to design solutions and make recommendations • Develop features and stories for product backlogs • Conduct impact assessments across applications, integrations, and data warehouses • Provide data science advice, demonstrations, presentations, mentoring, and training • Develop project estimates and work plans • Identify, develop, review, and evolve best practices, standards, procedures, and processes • Participate in reviewing team member deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• 4 or more years of applicable experience • Bachelor’s degree required • Master’s degree listed as an additional education requirement • Experience with probabilistic and predictive statistical models, including multiple regression, t-tests, z-tests, log modeling, Naïve Bayes, and Monte Carlo Simulation using R or Python • Knowledge of clinical data including UB and 1500 claims, HL7, CDA, EHR, and standard healthcare taxonomies • Advanced data querying techniques in ad hoc, ETL, and 3-tier application contexts • Experience with Oracle, DB2, Postgres, SQL Server, and Netezza • Healthcare research experience with large patient datasets • Experience in statistical methodology, design/development, data analytics and standardization, consulting, and conflict management • Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods • Ability to adapt, change priorities quickly, and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • Ability to operate computer programs and software • Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically • Ability to make independent decisions • Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and with interruptions • Travel 1-20% within the US
