📋 Description

• Provide tier-2 support for application incidents reported through the help desk • Analyze and resolve application incidents, maintenance items, enhancement requests, upgrades, updates, and projects • Collaborate with colleagues and across teams • Develop and maintain requirements, specifications, and test cases for new or enhanced application functionality • Create, review, and update test scripts to reflect workflow solutions • Modify Epic records, tables, and master files to support application design and changes • Implement changes using documented, policy-compliant procedures • Participate in team and cross-team meetings and maintain meeting records • Support the assigned Epic application, integrations, and related Epic applications • Work independently and anticipate and complete additional work within schedule • Recommend, review, and test changes, enhancements, and new releases • Support the training team by communicating new functionality and system changes • Create new workflows in collaboration with subject matter experts • Create solutions that improve end-user productivity and effectiveness • Mentor and teach analysts and other mentors • Troubleshoot issues outside the primary application • Develop knowledge-transfer and mentorship opportunities • Create presentations and present to large cross-functional groups • Analyze new-release functionality and identify impacts • Ensure quality assurance, change management, and testing processes are followed • Facilitate meetings, drive next steps, and provide notes and follow-up • Lead functional initiatives and advocate for change management • Identify and implement process improvements across teams and areas • Proactively recommend solutions to operations • Build and maintain relationships with other Epic customers • Assist with strategy development for assigned areas • Work with leadership to assess project scope and timelines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of IT or business experience • 6 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree • 3 years of Epic-specific experience • Epic certified in the supported application • Additional proficiency, certification, or badges in a related application area • Mid-level Microsoft Office skills • Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Strong customer orientation and customer service skills • Ability to analyze highly complex systems and workflows • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage major projects, programs, or departmental functions • Ability to establish tasks and activities associated with intended outcomes and timelines • Ability to collaborate and build consensus with stakeholders • Ability to understand and adhere to operational standards, policies, and procedures • Ability to identify risks and issues • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and develop solutions for new and unfamiliar challenges • Knowledge of current issues and trends in health care and clinical/revenue operations in a health care system • Ability to work 24/7 on-call coverage as required
