📋 Description

• Support secure client environments through active threat hunting, reporting, and consulting on client environments • Provide first-line support, expertise, and oversight to in-house Security Analysts • Work with Lead Security Analysts, Security Engineering, and the Presidio Managed Services organization to meet client service expectations • Provide feedback, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members • Plan and execute long-term strategies benefiting clients and services • Serve as the Named Security Analyst for Presidio MDR clients • Create and maintain technical documentation • Analyze security events and determine malicious activity • Create security write-ups describing security issues, analysis, and remediation techniques • Collaborate with Senior Security Analysts, Engineering, and Architecture teams to create and tune security use cases across platforms • Assist Engineering with managing toolset access for the Analyst Team • Develop and monitor metrics for security activities, identify trends, and formulate continuous-improvement action plans • Ensure adherence to SOPs and quality-control procedures • Develop enhancements for alerting and operational tools • Contribute to and enforce best-practice policies and submit content to the Knowledge Base • Conduct root-cause analysis of critical events to improve preventative and reactive processes • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, tools, standards, best practices, and news • Generate comprehensive security write-ups detailing issues, analysis, and remediation strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and/or military experience • 5+ years of related IT experience • 2+ years of analyst experience with enterprise-level case management tools • 2+ years of analyst experience with enterprise-level SIEM tools • 2+ years of experience working in a Managed Service Provider or customer support function • Knowledge of common network-based services and client/server applications • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to define effective security processes and implement process improvements • Practical knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, and related frameworks and methodologies • Experience developing technical documentation, reports, dashboards, SOPs, and Knowledge Base articles • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools • Experience working in a SOAR platform • Ability to work in a dynamic 24/7/365 shift environment • Preferred experience with an MSSP and/or MDR provider • Ability to collaborate within a technical team and mentor others • Passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning about attack vectors, threats, and security frameworks • GIAC, SSCP, CISSP, CISM, or other security-related certifications ideally sought
