📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery excellence and outstanding customer experiences • Discover clients’ IT environments and design migration approaches • Oversee migration of applications, data, and infrastructure to on-premises, cloud, or hybrid destinations • Develop comprehensive migration strategies based on business and technical requirements • Assess current IT landscapes and define migration scope • Select appropriate hosting models and cloud service providers • Develop cost, security, and compliance requirements for cloud adoption • Develop detailed migration and transformation plans • Consolidate data, identify gaps, and create complete master inventories • Develop rehosting, re-platforming, re-architecting, and legacy-system replacement plans • Identify migration dependencies and risks • Specify compute, storage, networking, and security services to optimize performance • Lead migration processes to minimize downtime and business disruption • Coordinate configuration requirements with infrastructure, DevOps, security, and networking teams • Oversee data migration, application refactoring, and cloud-native integrations • Provide post-implementation client support and troubleshooting • Recommend ways to improve post-migration cost-effectiveness and efficiency • Align cloud migration goals with business leaders, developers, and IT teams • Assist with client-team training on migration processes and leading practices • Communicate migration progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders • Author professional technical documentation • Create logical and physical diagrams using LucidChart, Visio, or equivalent • Lead client and peer conversations and whiteboarding sessions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience or military experience • 3+ years of experience in the IT industry • 1+ years of migration experience • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Good understanding of IaaS and PaaS cloud services • Knowledge of compute, storage, and networking infrastructure building blocks • Good understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and MS Hyper-V • Knowledge of cloud or on-premise migration tools and strategies • Excellent project management and client communication skills • Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet timelines • Ability to properly diagram and document a working environment • Strong attention to detail • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud with relevant certifications preferred • Preferred 3+ years of migration experience • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, QuickSight, Jira, or Azure DevOps preferred • Project management experience and PMP or Agile certifications preferred • Familiarity with PCI, SOC2, NIST, HITRUST, FedRAMP, Gov Cloud, CJIS, ITAR, or EAR • Working knowledge of access management, cloud security posture management, data loss prevention, and encryption • Experience optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost reduction • Experience with monitoring and alerting mechanisms • Willingness and ability to learn modern technologies, methodologies, solutions, and new tools • Ability to travel up to 15%
