đź“‹ Description

• Oversee overall clinical activities for Virginia Medicaid POS-PDL clinical pharmacy accounts • Upsell additional clinical services and ensure account renewal • Identify customer problems requiring clinical solutions and facilitate implementation and monitoring of solutions • Mentor clinical liaisons for assigned contracts • Support Account Managers with client relationships, clinical solution adoption, and account P&L management • Develop and track metrics monitoring program quality and care-cost impact • Partner in identifying, selling and measuring clinical program enhancements and best practices • Assist with legislative policy requests and provide benchmarking metrics • Create and maintain ad hoc reports • Communicate program progress, establish priorities, maintain client relationships, and respond to information requests • Assess, investigate and resolve difficult issues • Develop, implement and monitor project plans, requirements and timelines • Apply best practices with business process owners and stakeholders • Coordinate with Operations, Rebate and internal departments for consistent program delivery and performance monitoring • Standardize operations where possible • Provide overall project coordination for contract clinical functions • Manage revenue goals and administrative expenses • Develop relationships with key client contacts to support revenue growth • Ensure customer satisfaction with services and results • Coordinate implementation of new solutions and products and serve as liaison between the company and customers • Modify implementation approaches within budget and operational frameworks

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy Degree • Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy • 8 years clinical account management experience • 5 years of leadership/supervisory/people management experience • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship • 8+ years of pharmacy experience • 5+ years of experience in Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), Health plan or Medicaid clinical customer service • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and COGNOS or comparable • Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control and monitor project activities • Project management experience and knowledge of health plans, PBMs or Medicaid required • Compliance with security responsibilities, applicable legal, regulatory and contractual requirements, and internal policies and procedures • Ability to perform essential job functions, with reasonable accommodations as needed
