📋 Description

• Own and evolve the banking product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap across customer onboarding, transaction processing, treasury, and card issuance • Prioritize and sequence delivery across teams, remaining accountable for shipping from discovery through launch and iteration • Independently scope ambiguous, complex, cross-functional initiatives into clear requirements and deliverables • Personally write PRDs, product specifications, and user stories • Analyze data, edge cases, ledger and reconciliation logic, and regulatory details • Establish product discovery, prioritization, specification-quality, and launch-review processes and standards • Hire, coach, and develop product managers and create clear growth paths • Mentor distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones using asynchronous and inclusive leadership • Partner with engineering, design, data, compliance, risk, legal, and go-to-market teams • Ensure banking products meet regulatory, security, financial-control, risk-monitoring, and fraud-mitigation requirements • Communicate strategy, progress, investment cases, and trade-offs to executives and stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Roughly 12–18 years of relevant product management experience, including 5+ years leading and managing product teams; demonstrated impact matters more than years • Deep banking and/or payments domain expertise • Shipped core banking, payments, lending, or comparable financial products at scale • Direct product experience across several domains, including customer onboarding, transaction processing, treasury solutions, and card issuance • Experience with ACH, RTP/FedNow, checks, cross-border payments, and multi-currency handling • Experience delivering compliant payment products with strong risk monitoring and fraud controls • Familiarity with treasury products that drive deposit growth and interest income • Familiarity with card issuance programs that generate interchange income • Working knowledge of ledgering and reconciliation concepts • Proven ability to set product strategy and translate it into an executable roadmap • Ability to independently scope and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to delivery • Hands-on product operation, including writing PRDs and user stories • Experience building and scaling product organizations through hiring, coaching, processes, and standards • Strong record mentoring and leading distributed, global teams across time zones • Fluency working with engineering and design on technical trade-offs • Comfort navigating compliance, risk, regulatory, security, and financial-control constraints • Excellent judgment, communication, and stakeholder-management skills at the executive level • Nice-to-have: experience with domestic and cross-border payment rails, treasury or card issuance programs, platform or API products, fraud/risk/financial-crime tooling, and launching products in new markets • Nice-to-have: technical background or degree in a quantitative field
