📋 Description

• Support assessment design, psychometric, research, and statistical programming activities • Perform statistical analysis and data processing involving multiple regression, reliability, validity, and item response theory • Evaluate results for reasonableness using established program-specific procedures • Prepare schedules, task lists, quality control materials, statistical procedures, equating plans, test analysis reports, and item and DIF analyses • Design and coordinate tables and text for program publications, score reports, and related documents • Consult on complex computer-system design or revision and resolve data-related problems • Design, code, test, and debug programs and databases • Contribute to testing-program changes, long-range goals, staffing, budgeting, and technology plans • Train staff on psychometric and statistical software • Respond to data and data-interpretation requests, including non-routine analyses and special studies • Apply advanced Excel techniques to manipulate and present data • Implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and costs while maintaining quality • Develop, plan, coordinate, and conduct statistical operations for complex testing programs and research projects • Oversee statistical procedures memoranda and other statistical documents • Develop and manage procedures, processes, and work schedules across departments • Assign and monitor work of professional and support staff • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to complete tasks accurately and on time

🎯 Requirements

• A Master’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Educational Measurement, Statistics, Mathematics, Psychology or a closely related field • Six or more years of experience in managing and coordinating statistical analysis and data processing operations • Six or more years of experience performing data analysis using statistical software packages or programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word sufficient to create, format, or merge text and tables for memos and reports • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry, formulas, data organization, analysis, and data display • Advanced level experience working with Shiny R, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools • Strong working knowledge of and interest in K-12 education • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to travel to meetings and conferences as needed (less than 25%)
