📋 Description

• Manage, maintain, and update supply chain contract files, data, and systems • Maximize Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and local contracts for high contract penetration • Identify opportunities through data analysis to ensure price accuracy and supplier performance • Implement initiatives to achieve savings • Assist in developing contracting strategy and support contract negotiation processes • Manage supply, service, and capital contracts from implementation spend tracking to renewal management • Plan, award, and administer contracts for goods and services under independent delegated authority • Liaise with surgical and integrated clinical services staff to support procurement, contracting, and payables operations • Identify savings opportunities and build a prioritized pipeline • Provide initiative documentation for Service Line Category Management Committees • Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction • Support item master, contract management, and GPO systems for compliance, item information, and pricing accuracy • Develop and maintain contracts and bid calendars • Gather data and customer feedback for supplier scorecards and business reviews • Manage the Supply Chain-owned contracting process, including redlines, edits, signature routing, and contract storage • Identify best practices for major contracts while managing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance • Support long-term procurement and contracting strategies and implement supporting procedures and systems • Coordinate client requirements, draft technical specifications, recommend technical assistance, and propose product standardization • Analyze bids for multi-commodity purchase contracts and complex product procurement • Recap and audit vendor responses and communicate selections to appropriate parties • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Communications or related field of study • Two (2) years of related work experience • Equivalent combination of work/academic experience may be considered: six years related work experience OR Associate degree and four years related work experience • Working knowledge of Supply Chain functional areas • Familiarity with contract review process and redlining • Ability to identify and solve purchasing and contract problems • Familiarity with GPO benchmarking and other healthcare supply chain tools • Ability to work with hospital administrative departments, clinicians, and hospital executives • Ability to use metrics to drive decisions • Ability to solve complex problems effectively and manage multiple high priority deliverables • Ability to maintain current knowledge of technological and market development in assigned commodity area(s) • Interpersonal skills • Communication/facilitation skills • Planning and project management skills • Attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills • Customer service/excellence skills • Proficiency with the MS-Office suite of products
