📋 Description

• Lead the technical direction of projects across a product development team • Oversee the design and implementation of key projects aligned with business goals and customer needs • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and resources • Write high-quality, efficient code and uphold coding standards through code reviews • Contribute to strategic initiatives and standards through the Technical Authority Group • Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment • Assist in hiring and onboarding new talent • Influence strategic technical decisions and adoption of technologies and processes • Own team-developed products and features through deployment and ongoing support • Potentially manage less experienced team members

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership or senior software development roles • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills • Extensive experience with Python and cloud-based environments • Product engineering mindset and focus on business impacts of technical efforts • Ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders • Knowledge of agile practices and project management techniques • Expertise in some of the listed technologies and willingness to learn others as required • Experience with AWS and GCP • Experience with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Experience with Vue.js, Django Rest Framework, container-based and serverless architectures • Experience with MongoDB and DynamoDB • Experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Celery, EventBridge, and DataDog
