📋 Description

• Travels extensively to repair, maintain and start-up specified Bartelt Packaging equipment • Provides a communication link between the customer and the Company to provide excellent customer service • Installation, integration, repair and troubleshoot flexible machinery of a complex design • Ensure all established inspection, testing, quality and operating specifications are met • Directs/oversees customer’s personnel during machinery installations and servicing • May provide on-site customizing of machine programs to meet the customer needs • Occasionally maintain a 24-hour on-call status and provide customer technical telephone support • Provide factory floor support when not providing customer field service support/travel • Provide customer training regarding the operation & service of our machinery • Assist customers with aftermarket parts needs while in the field

🎯 Requirements

• Technical, Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of 3 years experience in machinery repair • Knowledge/skills of mechanical principles • Willingness to travel extensively within the US and internationally • Good communication & interpersonal skills • Proficiency in Windows & MS software (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to train customer personnel on equipment • Experience in flexible packaging material machinery preferred • PLC programming experience preferred • Familiarity with PLC/PC systems helpful
