📋 Description

• Provide Environmental Engineering and Architect-Engineer services supporting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and other federal agencies • Support environmental studies, designs, and environmental issue resolution under RCRA, CERCLA, SARA, TSCA, CWA, NEPA, and other federal, state, and local programs • Conduct site investigations, assessments, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial designs, and engineering studies and reports • Prepare Environmental Condition of Property reports and NEPA analyses and documentation • Conduct archaeological investigations, biological evaluations, wetlands determinations, mitigation studies, and habitat restoration work • Perform groundwater modeling, contaminant fate and transport analysis, surveying, and mapping • Coordinate community relations and resource and regulatory agencies • Provide construction-phase services, including engineering design during construction and shop drawing reviews • Prepare plans and specifications, and conduct value engineering, sustainability, renewable energy, and pilot studies • Perform human health and ecological risk assessments, hazard evaluations, and field inspections • Develop Data Quality Objectives and perform chemical QA/QC • Conduct surface and subsurface soil, sediment, rock, and water sampling and testing • Coordinate laboratory analyses for water, soil, lead paint, asbestos, and other materials • Perform cost estimating and engineering • Work on hazardous waste, radioactive and mixed waste, energy conservation, sustainable remediation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, recovered materials reuse, underground storage tank and fueling system, and military munitions projects • Conduct preliminary assessments, site inspections, remedial investigations, and feasibility studies for munitions services • Maintain OSHA health and safety compliance and adhere to USACE requirements for on-site investigations • Travel occasionally for meetings, events, site visits, or training

🎯 Requirements

• Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years • Bachelor's degree in engineering; environmental engineering or a related field such as civil, chemical, or general engineering • 8+ years of experience • Professional engineering registration required • U.S. Citizenship required • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe • Proficiency with business tools and technology • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Must be determined eligible for a Facility Access Authorization / Employment Authorization by the USG’s designated Security Office • Current OSHA health and safety training required for on-site investigations • Ability to comply with federal, state, and local regulations and laws • Ability to produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products that comply with established criteria
