📋 Description

• Analyze driver attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions concerning alcohol and non-alcohol drug use • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design survey instruments • Implement data collection methods and manage survey administration • Ensure survey data quality and integrity • Analyze survey data using advanced statistical techniques and tools • Generate insights to guide decisions and enhance road safety practices • Prepare reports and presentations communicating research findings to stakeholders • Conduct usability testing of survey instruments and refine methodologies • Maintain compliance with Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols and data privacy regulations • Deliver thorough, accurate, and appropriately documented work products • Meet project milestones and delivery schedules • Interact with clients and stakeholders across organizational levels

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Transportation, Statistics, Public Health, or a related discipline • Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SPSS, SAS, or R • Proficiency with data visualization tools • Previous experience in survey design, data collection, and statistical analysis • Familiarity with transportation research methodologies and concepts • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Commitment to ethical standards in research and data analysis • Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain client relationships • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical reports or journals • Ability to write scopes of work, budget estimates, schedules, reports of findings, proposals, correspondence, and technical documents • Ability to present information to management, clients, public groups, and boards of directors • Clear vision and depth perception • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Ability to interact and communicate with clients at all levels • Must understand and communicate in both written and spoken Spanish and English in the specialized field of Transportation Engineering • High level of analytical skills • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail • Excellent organizational and time management skills • U.S. Citizenship required • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio • Must meet background-check requirements; drug testing may apply
