📋 Description

• Conduct legal research • Draft pleadings, legal briefs, and memoranda • Draft discovery-related documents, including motions, deposition outlines, and third-party subpoenas • Assist with developing expert reports • Support ongoing and new litigation • Work 20–40 hours per week on substantive litigation tasks • Collaborate with the Protect Democracy team to protect free and fair elections

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of three years of civil litigation experience • Able to devote at least 20 hours per week from no later than October 5, 2026 through late March 2027 • Availability to start by October 5, 2026 • Comfort with fast-moving litigation • Experience with some or all of the listed litigation tasks • Strong commitment to preventing democracy from declining into a more authoritarian form of government • Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction where the applicant resides • Resume and writing sample must be submitted as PDFs • Compliance with all applicable bar membership rules
