📋 Description

• Answer incoming claims calls and identify key information about customers’ contracts • Answer questions related to coverage • Communicate follow-up information and new claims web instructions • Open new claims and collect, review, and verify claim documents • Review assigned claims and responsible queues • Request additional information, pictures, or inspections before authorizing claims • Ensure authorized claims are approved by appropriate parties before authorization • Handle claims and communications within desired metrics • Manage escalated cases and disputes or complaints • Provide claim status updates and exceptional customer service • Maintain claims quality-control KPIs, including audits, contact-center adherence, new-claim handling, and attendance • Participate in monthly one-on-ones, coaching, and development plans • Maintain professional and technical knowledge • Perform administrative duties and other related functions assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED • Automotive Technical degree or equivalent combination of technical knowledge and work experience desired • Automotive Technician, Automotive Service Advisor, or Automotive Parts Experience • Ability to manage escalated cases and handle disputes or complaints effectively • Ability to work independently and proactively • Superior written and verbal communication skills • Ability to solve customer problems using creative and effective techniques • Ability to operate computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and specialized software applications • Strong mathematical aptitude • Ability to multitask and handle interruptions • Ability to work flexible hours • Minimum three years of experience handling automotive claims for an automotive warranty company (preferred) • Minimum three years of experience in an automotive dealership or repair facility as a technician and/or service drive advisor (preferred) • ASE Certification is a plus • Three years of experience in mechanical inspections (preferred) • Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM with accuracy • PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Experience operating a multi-line phone system • Ability to work 8am–1pm every other Saturday in addition to Monday–Friday
