📋 Description
• Serve as the organization’s designated Privacy Officer • Lead privacy governance and oversight activities • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state privacy laws, contractual requirements, and organizational policies • Oversee compliance-related vendor reviews and due diligence activities • Monitor compliance with federal, state, contractual, and organizational requirements • Provide guidance to business leaders regarding compliance and privacy obligations
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred • 8–10 years of healthcare compliance or privacy experience • 3–5 years of leadership experience • Experience serving as Privacy Officer or leading privacy programs preferred • Medicaid and managed care experience preferred • Certification: CHPC, CHC, CIPP/US, CIPP-HC, or related certifications preferred
