📋 Description

• Sign off on analytical methods for executive, state agency, MCO, auditor, and RFP deliverables • Write and publish PPL analytics standards covering data modeling, semantic layers, metric definitions, statistical methods, documentation, and reproducibility • Co-author the enterprise analytics strategy with the VP of Analytics • Own the technical roadmap for the semantic and governance layer • Stop unsupported deliverables, figures, or claims • Serve as the deciding technical voice on leveling and hiring for the Analytics Engagement Consultant team • Lead consequential engagements involving executive sponsorship, regulatory exposure, or material P&L impact • Drive adoption of analytics standards across Operations, Finance, Program, and Client Services • Collaborate with PPL Data Architects on semantic layers, canonical data models, and metric definitions • Present PPL analytics to state agency and MCO leadership • Defend methodology under regulatory and audit scrutiny • Own analytical sections of major RFP responses • Review and approve work from analytics team members • Develop analytics professionals toward Principal-level judgment • Own the evolution of methodology, tooling standards, and operating model with the VP • Set the culture of analytics craft and intellectual honesty • Build the hardest models and maintain production dbt, SQL, and Python reference implementations

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, analytics engineering, or management consulting • 5+ years at the Staff, Principal, or equivalent level • Proven authority defining analytical methodologies and organizational standards • Experience serving as final reviewer for high-impact analysis • Analytical work able to withstand executive, regulatory, and audit-level scrutiny • Deep hands-on expertise with contact-center platforms and data, including contact-level modeling, workforce management, routing, multi-channel structures, and Erlang calculations • Experience with Genesys, Five9, NICE, Amazon Connect, or similar platforms • Enterprise-scale ownership of production dbt environments and data models • Advanced/senior-level SQL • Working knowledge of Databricks, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and orchestration tools • Python experience beneficial/nice to have • Ability to translate complex analysis into evidence-based narratives influencing executive decisions • Confidence challenging assumptions and presenting unexpected or contrary findings • Experience developing analytics professionals through mentorship, code review, technical guidance, and cross-functional leadership • Bachelor's degree required in computer science or information technology • Master's degree preferred in computer science or information technology • Healthcare, Medicaid, or other regulated-industry experience strongly preferred • Experience with claims, eligibility, payroll, finance, or program integrity preferred • Experience presenting to state agencies, MCOs, regulators, or auditors preferred • Experience writing analytical content of winning RFPs preferred • Consulting partner-track experience or principal-level analytics work at a mature technology company preferred • Experience establishing or substantially evolving an enterprise-scale semantic or governance layer preferred
