📋 Description

• Conduct electronic systems eligibility reviews for youth entering care and annually thereafter • Perform account management and reconciliation activities • Complete federal and state reports and requests • Ensure accounts are closed and funds distributed appropriately when a child leaves DCF care • Provide clear and timely communication to client representatives and affiliate agencies • Monitor performance standard measurements for trust accounting activities • Participate in state and federal audit inquiries • Maintain positive working relationships with the client and colleagues • Manage and monitor funds associated with children receiving benefits, including Social Security benefits, child support, and other federal or public payment resources • Ensure payments are accurately accounted for and applied in compliance with federal and state requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with general accounting principles • Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines • Detail orientation • Ability to understand and interpret federal and state laws and regulations • Ability to work independently and within a team • Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skills • Proficient in written and spoken English • Bachelor’s degree preferred • 1-2 years of relevant work experience • Must be authorized to work in the United States; PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship
