📋 Description

• Own the roadmap for Pulumi Cloud platform services • Define what agent-ready means for a trusted infrastructure control plane • Drive the Pulumi ESC roadmap for configuration and secrets • Own permissions models, RBAC granularity, and audit capabilities • Shape the Registry and Components ecosystem for reusable infrastructure • Treat the OpenAPI surface, Pulumi Service Provider, webhooks, and VCS integrations as first-class products • Balance enterprise governance requirements with individual developer usability • Instrument shipped products, define meaningful metrics, and use evidence in roadmap decisions • Drive end-to-end delivery from idea through general availability and adoption • Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Support, and the open source community

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in product management, engineering, or technical program management • Real experience with platform, API, or infrastructure products • Strong API and platform design knowledge, including resource modeling, versioning, backward compatibility, and error semantics • Comfort with secrets handling, permissions models, tenancy, and audit • Strong technical instincts and ability to discuss architectural tradeoffs with senior engineers, including consistency guarantees, failure modes, and migration paths • Ability to ramp quickly in unfamiliar technical domains and form independent opinions • Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products in ambiguous, complex problem spaces • Cross-functional experience with Sales, Marketing, and Support in a product-led growth environment • Excellent written and verbal communication • Commitment to building inclusive, collaborative teams • Nice to have: background in secrets management, identity providers, IAM, policy engines, or adjacent security infrastructure • Nice to have: experience shipping products consumed by agents or automated systems, including MCP servers, tool-use surfaces, or machine-facing APIs • Nice to have: familiarity with IaC tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Crossplane, or CDK • Nice to have: background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering • Nice to have: experience working with or contributing to open source projects and communities
