📋 Description

• Evaluate insurance coverage for complex, long-tail and multi-year liability claims • Develop strategies designed to maximize insurance recoveries for clients • Analyze mass tort and complex claims including toxic tort, environmental, pollution, asbestos, sexual assault, concussion, and other high-value liabilities • Conduct insurance archaeology and legacy policy research • Review historical policy documents and identify key coverage provisions • Develop and maintain policy mapping and coverage charts • Manage insurer communications, including notice and tender processes, information requests, and coverage position letters • Evaluate cost-share agreements and insurer buyout offers • Develop and interpret loss-allocation and insurance recovery strategies • Negotiate insurance coverage and loss-allocation resolutions with carriers and adjusters • Lead client needs analyses and develop strategic project plans • Provide technical coverage recommendations and client-facing analyses • Create high-quality client deliverables addressing complex coverage, project, and technical issues • Build trusted advisor relationships and identify opportunities to expand client engagements • Track claims, payments, and insurance recovery activity • Maintain strict client confidentiality

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10+ Years of Relevant Experience Evaluating and Negotiating Insurance Coverage on Multi-Year Claims REQUIRED • Experience with an Insurer, Insurance Archaeology Firm, Law Firm, or Comparable Complex Liability/Coverage Environment REQUIRED • Long-Tail Claim and Emerging Coverage Expertise REQUIRED • Complex Liability Insurance Coverage Analysis Experience REQUIRED • Experience Negotiating Coverage and Insurance Recoveries with Carriers REQUIRED • Experience Reviewing and Interpreting Historical Insurance Policies REQUIRED • Insurance Archaeology and Legacy Policy Research Experience REQUIRED • Policy Analysis, Mapping, and Coverage Chart Experience REQUIRED • Experience with Claims Notification, Notice/Tender Processes, and Insurer Communications REQUIRED • Experience Evaluating Cost-Share Agreements, Buyout Offers, or Loss-Allocation Strategies REQUIRED • Proven Client-Facing Consulting and Relationship Management Skills REQUIRED • Ability to Develop Strategic Project Plans and Client Recommendations REQUIRED • Strong Written, Analytical, Negotiation, and Communication Skills REQUIRED • Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities in a Fast-Paced Collaborative Environment REQUIRED • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience REQUIRED
