📋 Description

• Researches and evaluates the accounting impact of significant new and non-recurring transactions • Develops and documents accounting positions under U.S. GAAP • Prepares technical accounting memos and position papers • Monitors and assesses new and emerging accounting standards updates and SEC guidance • Maintains accounting policies • Leads implementation of significant accounting changes • Supports preparation and review of workpapers underlying Form 10-Q and Form 10-K • Supports EPS and stock-based compensation reporting • Owns and operates key SOX controls within assigned areas • Coordinates with external auditors on walkthroughs and requests • Maintains thorough, audit-ready documentation • Serves as technical accounting reviewer/approver in chart of accounts creation and maintenance • Verifies account mappings and financial statement alignments • Partners with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, business, Compensation, and Corporate Controller teams • Evaluates accounting and reporting implications of new transactions and strategic initiatives • Operates within a fast-paced financial close environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance Or A Related Field REQUIRED • Active CPA REQUIRED • 8+ Years Of Progressive Accounting Experience REQUIRED • Significant Big 4 Public Accounting Experience REQUIRED • Strong, Current Knowledge Of U.S. GAAP REQUIRED • Strong, Current Knowledge Of SEC Reporting Requirements REQUIRED • Ability To Research Technical Accounting Issues REQUIRED • Ability To Prepare Clear, Well-Supported Technical Accounting Position Papers And Memos REQUIRED • Technical Accounting Experience With Stock-Based Compensation REQUIRED • Technical Accounting Experience With Leases REQUIRED • Technical Accounting Experience With Revenue REQUIRED • Technical Accounting Experience With Debt REQUIRED • Technical Accounting Experience With Business Combinations REQUIRED • Candidate Must Be Located In Pacific Or Mountain Time REQUIRED • Technical Accounting / National Office Experience PREFERRED • Fintech Industry Experience PREFERRED • SaaS Industry Experience PREFERRED • NetSuite And / Or Oracle Experience PREFERRED • Workiva Experience PREFERRED • Advanced Excel Skills PREFERRED
