📋 Description

• Lead review of ASC 805 opening balance sheets and purchase price allocations for acquisitions • Coordinate with third-party valuation providers and review fair value analyses for GAAP consistency • Own and improve the onboarding program for newly acquired operating companies • Serve as technical accounting lead from diligence through close and post-close reporting • Build repeatable frameworks and templates as deal volume increases • Draft and own technical accounting memos for complex matters • Address carve-out and push-down accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, goodwill, reporting units, going concern assessments, PCC elections, debt modifications, equity/PIU arrangements, and foreign currency matters • Advise Grove accounting teams on GAAP questions • Support external audits on M&A-related technical positions • Direct cross-functional teams through onboarding cycles and mentor accounting team members

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience • Background in public accounting, consulting, and/or industry • Extensive experience preparing and reviewing ASC 805 materials • Comfort navigating ASC 606, ASC 350, ASC 810, and ASC 718 • CPA required • Prior experience in a PE-backed, multi-entity, or high-acquisition-volume environment is a plus • Experience with Business Central, OneStream, Power BI, and/or FloQast is a plus
