📋 Description

• Identify, prospect, and secure new ocean freight customers • Develop business opportunities for FCL, LCL, and project cargo services • Build and maintain relationships with shippers, importers, exporters, manufacturers, and strategic partners • Develop and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through closing • Partner with pricing and operations teams to create customized, competitive logistics solutions • Monitor freight rates, carrier capacity, market conditions, and industry trends • Develop strategies to expand business within assigned trade lanes and customer accounts • Conduct customer meetings and participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities • Work toward and exceed sales and revenue objectives

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ocean freight sales, freight forwarding, logistics sales, or business development • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently achieve sales goals • Strong understanding of Transatlantic and/or India Subcontinent (ISC) trade lanes • Experience selling international ocean freight services, including FCL and LCL • Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities • A self-motivated, results-oriented approach to sales • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
