📋 Description

• Investigate scientific information sources for inclusion in QIAGEN applications • Work with product and requirements owners to ensure information is used appropriately in applications • Develop and improve curation protocols, tools, and processes with internal curation groups • Research and maintain the N-of-One MarkerMine KnowledgeBase used to create client reports • Research and analyze published scientific and clinical data • Communicate with scientists and oncologists • Write accurate content and literature/data synopses in the knowledgebase • Synthesize data into reports for cancer patients and physicians • Review clinical trials • Submit reports within stated deadlines while working efficiently within the team • Attend weekly science meetings as applicable • Train new scientists as needed • Help develop quality assurance policies for knowledgebase content as needed • Assist in development of clinical products as needed • Participate in consultations with physicians and scientists about research and applications to cancer patients • Maintain accurate work records and data entry • Promote high-quality, efficient client services and maintain confidentiality

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. in cancer biology, molecular biology, genetics, or related field • 3–5 years post-graduate experience preferred • Understanding of somatic alterations in cancer and their impact on disease and treatment sensitivity/resistance • Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and documentation skills • Ability to coordinate work and manage time effectively • Proven ability to use resources effectively and efficiently • Ability to contribute positively to team morale and collaborative spirit • Maintain up-to-date, accurate written work records and relevant data entry in compliance with company standards • Maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality around client, scientific, and company matters
