• Report to the Senior Director, Credentialing and Revenue Cycle • Manage daily performance and oversight of revenue cycle services, specifically accounts receivable and follow-up activities • Assist with standardization and optimization of in-house revenue cycle management processes • Own assigned revenue outcomes and leadership-determined key performance indicators • Create standard operating procedures with leadership • Assist with continuous improvement and quality improvement activities • Manage legacy accounts receivable run-down for acquired practices, including billing, A/R follow-up, insurance and patient refunds, and collection of patient balances • Stay current with payer guidelines and reimbursement policies • Monitor payer rejection and denial trends and assign timely follow-up work • Report trends and corrective action plans to leadership • Lead team meetings as assigned • Participate in audits with the finance/accounting team • Assist with bad debt collection processes • Provide assistance and oversight for patient billing calls • Research returned patient mail, update addresses, and resend statements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred • 5-7 years of progressive revenue cycle management experience within a large healthcare organization • Experience in patient access, registration, billing, accounts receivable/follow-up, and collections • Strict attention to detail • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, start-up, results-oriented environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel • Ability to analyze large data sets and advanced analytical skills • Experience developing revenue-cycle outcome-driven metrics • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
