📋 Description

• Provide engineering and/or technical services in support of Evaluation Measurement & Verification projects and utility clients • Perform basic engineering analysis of energy systems across various building types, building systems, and industries • Develop and apply qualitative and quantitative models to address research questions • Develop and employ best-practice data collection methods • Design models and data collection tools with direction • Manage datasets and maintain data integrity using Excel, R, and other data management tools • Conduct data analysis and apply data cleaning techniques • Calculate and interpret basic statistics and relationships in quantitative data • Summarize qualitative data and formulate key findings • Apply calculations, algorithms, and/or modeling to estimate savings from energy efficiency and demand response measures • Support senior engineering staff with data acquisition and cleaning • Conduct basic site assessments at customer facilities • Write technical reports explaining analysis results and findings • Review project data and reported results for accuracy, errors, and completeness • Communicate with project leads on quality control approaches and results

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Experience using data management and analysis software (e.g., R, etc.) • Knowledge of Energy Efficiency products and how they work • Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems and how they relate to energy efficiency • Experience with regression analysis and other statistical modeling is a plus • Experience using eQuest, EnergyPlus, and other industry standard software tools is a plus • Experience performing data analysis in R is a plus
