📋 Description

• Perform testing, maintenance and repair of low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and other electrical apparatus in the shop and field • Perform testing on low- and medium-voltage breakers, including Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current and timing tests • Complete mechanical work and repairs on breakers and switches, including teardown, refurbishment and parts replacement • Wire circuit breakers • Utilize and accurately read test equipment • Read schematics and wiring drawings • Troubleshoot circuit breaker controls • Read and plot time-current curves • Test transformers, including Power Factor and TTR • Accurately and consistently document using Power DB • Work with electrical tools and socket sets

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years’ related experience in commercial and industrial maintenance • Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems testing • Reference and complete assignments as described in applicable specifications • Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) • Valid Driver’s license and good driving record • Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading and writing • Ability to perform 50% overnight travel
