📋 Description

• Own and execute Quince's proactive global media strategy across business, retail, technology, and consumer press • Cultivate durable relationships with journalists and editors at outlets including BoF, Bloomberg, WSJ, WWD, Vogue Business, and Modern Retail • Originate and pitch story angles advancing Quince's core narrative, category expansion, and global growth • Lead proactive media placements around company milestones • Write and edit press releases, media briefs, executive commentary, fact sheets, and background documents • Prepare executive spokespeople for high-stakes media moments, including briefing materials, message architecture, and interview preparation • Lead communications for cross-functional launches with product, merchandising, and growth teams • Direct and manage external PR agency partners • Build and own earned-media measurement frameworks covering coverage quality, share of voice, and narrative penetration • Design scalable communications systems, processes, and playbooks • Monitor the retail, commerce, and consumer landscape and anticipate relevant news cycles • Serve as the sole owner of the communications function, reporting to the Head of Brand Strategy & Narrative

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media strategy • Experience working with consumer brands, retail platforms, or high-growth technology companies • Strong media relationships across business, retail, and consumer press • Exceptional writing and editing skills • Experience managing agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear and compelling narratives • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously • Successful completion of a background check
