📋 Description

• Help patients check into the hospital • Answer patient questions during registration • Collect patient and insurance information accurately and quickly • Work on computers and answer phones to intake information • Enter registration details across multiple screens and programs • Coordinate registration information between physician and nurse check-ins • Ask follow-up questions, build rapport, and ease patient anxiety • Assist patients with completing registration • Work around clinicians and interruptions caused by emergent clinical care • Work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet • Contribute to patient care and customer success as part of R1 RCM’s healthcare revenue-cycle services

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Excellent customer service experience • Ability to multitask confidently in a fast-paced environment • Quick to learn technology • Ability to type and answer phones • Comfortable working across multiple computer programs and screens • Prepared to see illness and injuries in a hospital/lab environment • Willingness to work Sunday 7:00PM–7:00AM and PRN as needed/on-call • For this US-based position, eligibility to work in the United States is implied by the stated US-based position
