📋 Description

• Research accounts using the client’s Patient Accounting system, payer portals and/or websites, and R1’s proprietary software • Review opportunities and evaluate expected reimbursement calculations • Determine whether opportunities should be pursued with payers and identify required resolution actions • Document accounts to support appeal and resolution efforts • Diagnose underpayment causes and identify prevention opportunities for clients • Support opportunity creation through execution of rules in R1 software • Lead and support teams to drive revenue opportunities • Train and mentor domestic and global teams • Meet production, accuracy, and efficiency benchmarks • Complete required training courses • Promote a supportive and positive team culture aligned with R1’s values • Conduct quality assurance reviews and coordinate with global teams • Provide constructive feedback and foster open communication • Coordinate with HBUP Partners, including Audit Strategy Team, Client Delivery, and Centers of Excellence • Respond to requests timely and inform cross-team strategic prioritization

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ months at Cloudmed/R1, or equivalent experience in hospital billing, resolution, revenue cycle and/or related data analytics • Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities • Organized and analytical self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills to give specifics and details to support claims • Strong mathematical skills with emphasis on complex equations • Proficient with computers and technology
