• Instruct American Red Cross classes for community groups at American Red Cross buildings and community or corporate sites • Deliver Red Cross Training Services courses within current certifications • Begin classroom setup at least 30 minutes before the scheduled class start • Maintain, manage, store, transport, load, unload, carry, and lift assigned equipment • Reorder necessary equipment at least monthly and maintain active supply inventories • Clean equipment according to decontamination guidelines and report maintenance issues • Ensure quality, consistency, and standardized course delivery • Report violations to the Instructor Manager for quality assurance review • Follow registration policies for unregistered students in community classes • Commit fixed availability in Skedulo to meet territory teaching needs • Communicate regularly with the Instructor Manager • Submit unavailability requests, bi-monthly expense reports, weekly timecards, and required training records • Use the issued RedCross.org corporate email for American Red Cross correspondence • Participate in town halls, quarterly all-member virtual meetings, product updates, certification classes, and approved development training • Perform light logistics, including restocking equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) • Current certification to be an instructor in the discipline is desired • Once certified, maintain current basic and instructor-level certifications for courses hired to teach • Basic computer and email skills • Demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs • Strong presentation abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate course material clearly and understandably • Ability to teach effectively in an adult learning environment • Ability to travel regionally 90–95% • Current driver's license • Access to reliable transportation to training sites • Ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required • Frequently lift or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds • Ability to work in a small cubicle and sit at a computer terminal for extended periods • Fixed availability schedule during the day, evening, or weekends • Comfort and experience using audio-visual technology, including computer/LCD and PowerPoint
