📋 Description

• Work cross-functionally with product, data science, operations, and engineering counterparts to execute product and business strategy to keep Reddit safe • Contribute to the full development cycle: ideation, technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch • Review code and design documents and help shape the roadmap • Lead a team of engineers • Set and define standards that improve developer workflows • Recommend best practices • Coach and mentor engineers to support their professional development • Innovate on new solutions and continuously improve technical and non-technical abilities • Drive technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for a large-scale platform

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages; Go, Python, Rust, Ruby • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule • Entrepreneurial spirit; self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment • Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences • Applied ML experience for a product or business solution (bonus)
