📋 Description

• Actively manage projects through initiation, delivery, and closure • Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activities • Control project requirements, scope, and change management issues • Monitor project economics, including costs, budgets, staffing, resources, and risk • Ensure adherence to legally binding requirements • Develop project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects • Manage project forecast projections for clients and Red Hat • Support proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, schedules, and project estimation • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report project activities, including subcontractor monitoring • Establish metrics for measuring project criteria • Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage operational plan changes • Conduct status review meetings with project teams and clients • Apply industry project management and technical delivery methodologies, including Agile and Red Hat Services methodologies • Train and motivate project team members to accomplish goals and resolve technical and operational issues • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and project management techniques • Travel to work alongside regional accounts and service provider partners in person

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant program and project management experience, preferably managing large, complex enterprise IT projects • Experience using various project management and agile tools, frameworks, and methodologies • Track record of successfully managing projects from inception to closure • Experience with establishing and contributing to process improvements • Experience dealing with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams • Ability to work effectively across diverse management teams and internal and external partners • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including communication with executive-level customer personas • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Healthy balance of business and technical background • Ability to articulate the Project Management value proposition and evangelize Red Hat Services PM methodology and techniques • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience • Ability to travel frequently to work alongside customers and visit customer sites, up to 75% annually • Scrum master, lean, product management, and project management certifications and computer science training are a plus • Experience with and knowledge of open source software technologies preferred
