📋 Description

• Lead a regional sales team in achieving assigned goals and objectives • Ensure compliance with Regeneron policies and programs governing field sales activities • Meet or exceed assigned sales performance objectives • Align account action plans with brand strategic initiatives • Lead hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluation and development of the regional sales force • Communicate expectations for use of approved promotional resources • Ensure employees are trained in and effectively implement customer education • Communicate current industry and competitor-product knowledge to regional teams • Ensure appropriate participation in industry meetings and conferences • Analyze sales and customer data to deploy appropriate regional resources • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners on business strategies supporting brand objectives • Establish cross-functional partnerships and leverage regional resources to influence customer behavior • Oversee customer relationships and manage critical current and prospective customer relationships • Build and sustain relationships with therapeutic leaders in the region • Report to a Sales Director, Ophthalmology, with Medical Specialists reporting to this role

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required • Minimum 10 years' experience within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry • Minimum 5 years of regional and/or line sales management experience preferred • Experience in biologics and buy-and-bill products or strong relevant experience in the Retina field required • Must be based in, or located in close proximity to, New York and New Jersey • Relocation will not be provided • Ability to travel 60–65%
