📋 Description

• Serve as subject matter expert and highest point of escalation for network technologies • Design, implement, and maintain high-performing, highly available, secure on-premises, co-hosted, cloud, and wireless network systems • Perform IT project work for clients • Collaborate with clients to understand needs and provide solutions aligned with business objectives • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects and mentor junior team members • Research and evaluate new technologies and develop implementation plans for new service offerings • Provide presales consultation, review client environments, and recommend upgrades or changes • Manage, schedule, research, resolve, route, and escalate service requests • Track billable time and maintain accurate professional notes in the PSA system • Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting while meeting SLAs, OLAs, and best practices • Implement security measures and support compliance with NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS where applicable • Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network efficiency and reliability • Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers • Document client environments, technical processes, procedures, and solutions; assist with guides and training materials • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support outside regular business hours • Attend team and status update meetings • Uphold Rehmann values and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required • Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required • Relevant vendor certifications such as Fortinet FCP or FCSS, Cisco CCNP or CCNA, and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate highly desirable • Proven experience designing and implementing robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance networks • Extensive experience with firewalls, wireless access points, routers, switches, and network technologies from Fortinet, WatchGuard, Ruckus, and Cisco • In-depth knowledge of Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiAP, FortiSwitch, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer preferred • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, SD-WAN, ZTNA, DHCP, DNS, routing protocols, network topologies, and architectures • Familiarity with Azure cloud networking and software-based networking in VMware and Hyper-V environments • Willingness to travel to client sites and work outside regular business hours; reliable transportation required • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines • Passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies • Ability to coach and train others • Ability to build client relationships and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Self-motivated, adaptable, organized, calm under pressure, and able to work effectively in a team environment • Willingness to travel 98% local/state and nationally an average of twice per year
