📋 Description

• Reconcile client bank account statements • Prepare journal entries • Update depreciation and amortization schedules • Prepare financial statements • Assist with transactional accounting, including payroll, cash receipts, and cash disbursements • Maintain clients’ accounting software and files • Build internal relationships to foster teamwork and collaboration • Provide a “wow” experience to every client • Contribute to the success of clients’ organizations • Identify opportunities to introduce other Rehmann specialists to existing clients

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field • Progress towards the CPA exam or a commitment to pursue • 2-5 years in handling the accounting duties described above • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel • Proficiency with accounting-specific software programs, including QuickBooks Online or other accounting, bill pay and payroll software • Ability to read a financial statement and identify issues to discuss with a client • Outstanding client service and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment • Commitment to continuous learning and development • Unwavering integrity in all situations • High degree of attention to detail
