📋 Description

• Support the design, modification, and commissioning of power system protection and automation schemes • Assist in developing substation protection schemes and specifying relays for redundant protection systems • Prepare basic engineering drawings, sketches, and documentation under guidance • Assist in calculating and programming substation protective relay set points • Support commissioning activities by providing field assistance and documentation • Learn and apply industry standards and internal design procedures • Maintain organized project files and records • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and utility personnel to support project execution • Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop technical skills • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution • 0–2 years of engineering experience in electric utility or power systems • Basic understanding of electrical theory, power systems, and protective relaying • Proficiency in CAD software preferred • Ability to follow technical instructions and work under supervision • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation preferred • Internship or prior related experience preferred
