📋 Description

• Lead and grow the team responsible for verification of flight software using DO-178C-compliant processes • Provide direction and guidance to software verification engineers • Own software verification efforts • Triage issues found during verification and coordinate with relevant teams • Train and mentor engineers on verification processes, tools, and best practices • Identify, evaluate, and manage qualification of software verification tools, including test automation, static analyzers, and coverage tools, according to DO-330 guidelines • Bridge technical leadership, rigorous process compliance, and people management to support safety, airworthiness, and regulatory approval of flight software products

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years experience in safety-critical software verification to achieve DO-178C objectives • 3+ years in a technical leadership or people management role • Proficiency with static analysis, structural coverage tools (e.g., Rapita, VectorCAST, LDRA), configuration management tools, and embedded programming environments (C/C++) • Experience specifying and working with a range of test environments to fulfill product and DO-178C verification objectives • Practical experience performing DO-178C verification analyses activities such as control and data coupling and worst case execution time • Excellent documentation, collaboration, and cross-functional communication skills • Demonstrated success scaling teams and maturing verification processes in a high-growth environment • Experience with tool qualification for DO-178C/DO-330 • Prior certification liaison experience working with Certification Authorities (FAA, EASA, etc.) • Experience automating and reporting test results and coverage • Must provide documentation establishing status as a U.S. person or non-U.S. person and nationalities where applicable • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship may be required to be disclosed
