📋 Description

• Shape core product architecture and drive end-to-end feature development impacting hundreds of thousands of users • Architect and implement full-stack product features across AI platform, inventory, checkout, analytics, and 3rd-party integrations • Own critical product surfaces end-to-end — from architecture to deployment • Set technical direction, define best practices, and mentor engineers • Lead and grow a team of engineers; provide hands-on technical leadership • Own project execution end-to-end — planning, architecture, delivery, incident response, and roadmap definition • Collaborate with founders, Chief of Staff, and high-visibility stakeholders to attract talent and drive initiatives • Work on payments processing, onboarding and billing flows, event ingestion (Kafka + ClickHouse), and agentic workflows that design/build shops

🎯 Requirements

• Has a CS degree (or equivalent) • Can be in office 3-4 days/week in San Francisco • 7+ years of professional experience in software development • Experience leading projects on a cross-team or company-wide scale • Uses Cursor/Windsurf/GPT to accelerate their work • Has built products 0 -> 1 with real users and revenue • Is OK operating independently without product/design • Is ALWAYS SHIPPING. We don't spend weeks planning features at Replo • Has a product and customer-focused mindset • Values writing clean, maintainable software, including documentation (e.g. the code needs to be correct and run fast, but we’re the ones that have to read it and understand it) • Is comfortable with ambiguity and defining software architecture patterns to solve customer pain points • Proficiency in Typescript; our tech stack is a Typescript mono-repo and interview process expects proficiency • Ability to mentor engineers and set technical direction
