📋 Description

• Support enterprise physical and virtual environments on cloud and on-premises platforms • Deploy, automate, monitor, and support networks, servers, and applications in a cloud-hosted environment • Act as a liaison in meetings with vendors and development groups, bringing an operational perspective to the SDLC • Coordinate operations deliverables as needed • Support internal customers and external customers, corporate staff, and vendor IT staff • Provide production support • Monitor systems to detect performance issues in managed physical and virtual machines • Recommend performance improvements to ensure high availability • Serve as a team-level escalation point for technical issues • Participate in implementing agreed-upon solutions and strategies • Configure and troubleshoot application servers and software with Storage and Virtualization Engineers • Perform maintenance including firmware updates, hot fixes, and software upgrades • Document technical problems, resolutions, and processes • Test and evaluate new technologies for compatibility and functionality • Follow change and incident management policies and procedures • Monitor industry trends and recommend future initiatives • Oversee network switch configurations, monitoring, patch and security updates, asset management, and 24x7 support • Perform other assigned or related duties

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing and supporting IT Infrastructure in a mid-to-large scale Enterprise Environment data center environment • Knowledge of server/storage hardware and protocols (NFS, iSCSI) • Demonstrated scripting and automation skills (Perl, Bash, PHP, Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc.) • Basic understanding of security concepts, including Active Directory, NTFS permissions, security auditing, security user contexts, and application layer vulnerabilities • Understanding of cloud storage, network, and hardware technologies • Understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP, netflow, access-control lists, policy-based routing, firewalls, peering, and DNS • Relevant technical certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) • Must be available to work during Arizona business hours (Mountain Standard Time) • Position is not sponsorship eligible
