📋 Description

• Provide high-level technical waste disposal expertise and support to sales, operations, and customers • Partner with customer service, sales, and operations teams to ensure acceptance and disposal of waste materials • Troubleshoot technical issues related to hazardous waste treatment and disposal • Build regular and direct rapport with customers as an extension of sales and customer service teams • Apply specialized knowledge regarding waste treatment and disposal services across cross-functional teams • Engage clients to understand technical requirements, deliver customized solutions, and ensure satisfaction • Meet with clients to discuss waste management solutions • Analyze laboratory results and safety data sheets • Compile technical data into comprehensive reports • Investigate hazardous waste regulations and assist with waste classification • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate treatment options and comply with transportation guidelines • Work with sales to offer solutions meeting quality and regulatory standards • Perform technical evaluations and facilitate communication between departments • Maintain customer pricing records • Support customer retention and business development • Support development of bid materials with sales managers • Support the Gulf Sales team with profiling and categorizing waste

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of equivalent work experience in waste disposal, chemistry, or a related field providing technical expertise • Environmental/hazardous waste profiling experience • Experience with RCRA • Experience with DOT regulations • Advanced knowledge of RCRA laws and regulations related to waste characterization principles and practices • Knowledge of waste processing protocols, transportation regulations, and industry best practices • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documentation, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Advanced negotiation and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of business math, geometry, and basic accounting processes • Knowledge of computer technology for communication, data gathering, and reporting • Proficient with Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and PDF writer • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Ability to identify trends and data patterns • Work schedule availability from 8am–5pm Central Time • Very limited travel may be required
