📋 Description

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to surgical residents via electronic platforms • Develop personalized study plans and schedules • Provide detailed feedback on practice exams and assignments • Design and develop comprehensive ABSITE curriculum materials aligned with the latest test specifications • Create lesson plans addressing key exam topics • Deliver ABSITE instruction using effective teaching methodologies • Provide individualized feedback focused on improvement and success strategies • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed • Keep in touch with each student at least weekly to ensure curriculum compliance • Communicate with Residents Medical regarding each student's progress • Respond to all student emails within 24 hours

🎯 Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with a focus on surgery • Board certification or eligibility in general surgery is preferred • Experience in surgical education and a deep understanding of the ABSITE exam content and structure • Proven track record of helping students or residents achieve high scores on standardized exams • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in developing study plans and educational resources • Passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and professional growth of surgical residents • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a teaching or mentor role • Ability to design curriculum, deliver engaging classroom sessions, and assess student progress
