📋 Description

• Work with our engagement and communications team in: • Researching and writing reports and creating content for other materials summarizing CalMTA’s work and initiatives. • Providing technical copy editing, fact check, and sourcing of reports and studies developed by partners and contractors • Concepting and creating high quality, data driven visuals to support the sharing of information • Developing presentation material that delivers on key messages and outcomes • Supporting document production and adherence to CalMTA brand standards and messaging • Participating in planning and execution of activities to promote CalMTA activities and progress. • Functions as a cooperative and cohesive member of project teams • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located in the state of California • B.S. or B.A. preferred • 5+ years work experience in energy efficiency and subject matter knowledge • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Experience writing and editing a range of technical documents and marketing documents • Comfortable working with technical material for editing, fact checking, and citing work • Experience with data visualization and concepting technical content for graphical representation • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite particularly formatting styles in Word and PowerPoint • Highly motivated and positive attitude • Superior organization and time management skills • Commitment to high-quality partner and team service and the ability to address issues/concerns • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility to work with a variety of team members and dynamic project demands • Interest or experience in a field related to energy or sustainability • High degree of inter-cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness
