📋 Description

• Develop and validate geological and block models • Prepare mineral resource estimates • Support technical reporting in accordance with industry standards, including NI 43-101 and SK-1300 • Evaluate geological, drilling, sampling, and assay data • Perform QA/QC reviews and model reconciliation • Partner with geology, mine planning, operations, and engineering teams • Provide technical leadership on consulting projects • Mentor and support junior geologists • Contribute to continuous improvement of resource estimation practices • Support business development by building client relationships and identifying growth opportunities • Represent RESPEC at industry conferences and professional events • Contribute to recruiting, training, and team development initiatives • Support precious metal, base metal, and aggregate projects throughout North and South America

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in geology, geostatistics, or a related field • 3-5 years of mine geology experience within an operating environment • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in resource modelling and domain estimation • 10+ years of total experience in geology, with a strong focus on resource work • Professional designation such as Professional Geologist (P.G) or P.Geo. (Canada) and/or CPG (AIPG) • Strong background in resource estimation, block modelling, and geological interpretation • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record • Position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel • Advanced proficiency in Surpac, MinePlan, Leapfrog or similar 3D modelling software (Preferred) • Candidates without advanced degrees are encouraged if they can demonstrate a strong portfolio of modelling and estimation experience
