📋 Description

• Partner with representatives of the Sales organization to achieve customer engagements that drive adoption of solutions • Conduct thorough discoveries to identify customer needs and requirements • Design and execute custom/highly configured software demonstrations for pre-sales activities • Conduct pre-sales POCs, pilots, workshops, and evaluations specific to the product area • Assist with responses to RFIs/RFPs related to the product area • Provide supplemental support for canned demonstrations as required in the territory • Provide strategic insights to product management and product marketing based on customer feedback and market trends • Ensure seamless handover to professional services and customer support teams • Contribute technical insights to product enhancement and customer engagement strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry, Formulations, Cheminformatics or STEM disciplines • 3+ years of lab experience in research or industry • Strong understanding of synthetic chemistry • 3+ years' experience in polymer/formulation chemistry is a plus • 3+ years' experience with relevant scientific and informatics solutions, including ChemDraw • MSs or PHD degree in Organic Chemistry, Formulations, Cheminformatics or STEM disciplines preferred • Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) and analytics platforms like Spotfire highly desirable • Strong experience with scripting languages and RESTful APIs desirable • Strong skills in communication and presentation • Highly customer-oriented with the ability to engage with clients at all levels, conduct demonstrations and solution proof of concepts • Open to travel to customer sites and conferences, with travel expectations of 30-40% • Previous customer-facing experience is a plus
