📋 Description

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products • Communicate product features and benefits • Generate sales from new customers and additional sales to existing customers • Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers on sales strategies and new markets • Assist customers with product selection and application • Establish and maintain customer relationships • Evaluate customer operations and present tailored solutions • Prepare product quotations and provide ongoing communication throughout the purchasing lifecycle • Resolve payment issues with management, credit, and customers • Gather and report information on the company, competitors, pricing, products, and market trends • Participate in professional development, company training, promotions, sales meetings, supplier seminars, and training schools • Maintain accurate sales call schedules and expense reports • Coordinate vendor sales calls and product demonstrations • Utilize and champion digital tools, customer solutions, and services • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience • Valid Driver’s License • High School or GED - Required • Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers and to be sensitive to their needs • Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to drive decisions with influence • Product and application knowledge essential • Highly self-motivated • Familiar with Microsoft Office as well as relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM) • Must be located in the greater Columbus, OH area • Ability to travel to offsite locations constantly (at least 51%) • Ability to perform the listed physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to electrical hazards
