📋 Description

• Engage as a specialized pull-in resource when Technical Success Managers identify complex customer needs. • Lead technical customer engagements from discovery through delivery, including complex configuration, voice network architecture, feature adoption, and platform optimization. • Run technical discovery sessions, gather call flow, extension, and integration requirements, set implementation timelines, and lead voice network migrations and cutovers with rollback plans. • Conduct voice network capacity planning, performance analysis, and security hardening assessments. • Design and architect enterprise voice network solutions, including SIP trunking, QoS, PBX/UCaaS connectivity, VLANs, firewall/SBC rules, and failover/disaster recovery. • Troubleshoot root-cause voice quality and routing issues, including jitter, latency, packet loss, and codec mismatches. • Coordinate with carriers, SIP trunk providers, and third-party vendors on number porting, circuit provisioning, and escalations. • Document voice network topologies, dial plans, and configurations for customer handoff; provide go-live support and post-implementation stabilization. • Document product gaps, configuration limitations, and customer-requested capabilities observed across engagements. • Submit structured SME-to-Product feedback after each engagement. • Participate in product beta programs and early access initiatives. • Maintain deep specialty-lane knowledge across RingCentral products and contribute to internal knowledge resources. • Stay current on competitive capabilities across NICE CXone, Genesys, Five9, and Zoom.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on technical work in voice network engineering, post-sales, professional services, or solutions engineering. • Direct responsibility for voice network design and implementation. • Hands-on voice network engineering experience on the vendor side or enterprise/client side. • Personal ownership of voice network architecture for enterprise environments. • Ability to explain call flows, SIP trunk configuration, failure modes, QoS, automation scripting, and design trade-offs. • Fluency with SIP, RTP, QoS, and codecs. • Ability to critically read vendor documentation and debug call-quality and routing failures. • Experience designing failover and redundancy logic. • Demonstrated scripting/automation capability with Python, Ansible, or equivalent voice/network automation platforms. • Production experience designing or assessing SBC, SD-WAN, or equivalent voice-aware network deployments. • Experience responding to and recovering from production voice outages or call-quality degradation. • End-to-end PBX-to-cloud or SIP trunking migration experience, including dial plan design, carrier configuration, and go-live support. • Relevant platform certifications are strongly preferred, including Cisco CCNP Collaboration/CCIE Collaboration, Avaya, Microsoft Teams Voice, RingCentral certifications, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent. • Documented professional history detailing deployment scopes, past employers, systems touched, lessons learned from mistakes, and outcomes delivered. • Professional, cordial, and personable communication. • Full ownership, accountability, follow-through, and timely delivery. • Direct, specific, and clear technical communication. • Ability to remain credible and composed under pressure. • Ability to scope engagements clearly and produce high-quality deliverables with minimal revision. • Technical subject-matter expertise and preparedness.
