📋 Description

• Assist Lead Technicians with up-tower generator repairs and maintenance on GE wind platforms • Support bearing exchanges, re-leads, and wye ring replacements • Support setup, teardown, and safe operation of tooling and equipment • Climb turbines and perform work at height to support repair scopes • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Properly use and organize tools • Follow directions from the Lead Technician • Complete required documentation • Apply GE LOTO procedures and demonstrate safe work practices • Exhibit initiative and dependability to support long-term career development • Travel to and remain on-site at multiple project sites for extended durations

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of wind industry experience preferred • Ability to travel on a 6 weeks on / 1 week off rotation • Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn • Ability to follow instructions, perform physical labor, and prioritize safety • Ability to travel and remain on-site for extended project durations • Must pass required drug screening, background check, and fitness-for-duty evaluation • Must possess a valid driver’s license • Ability to climb up to 300 ft. multiple times per day • Comfort working in confined spaces and extreme environmental conditions • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work while suspended in a harness for extended periods • Experience with GE wind platforms, generator repairs, bearing exchanges, re-leads, wye ring replacements, and GE LOTO procedures is relevant to the role
