• Directly implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the supervisor • Provide family and caregiver training on behavior support plans • Participate in interdisciplinary team development and implementation of individual care plans • Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress • Work with BCBA to ensure materials and supplies are available • Collect and record data to monitor behavior support plan progress and effectiveness • Ensure implementation, completion, and family training on data sheets • Implement behavior support plans written by the BCBA or BCaBA • Provide positive behavioral supports and respond to emergency situations as trained • Complete documentation required by Benchmark Human Services and state and federal regulations • Provide written and verbal updates on behavior support plan goals to BCBA or BCaBA • Monitor individuals’ general well-being using standardized behavior and health care protocols • Assist with personal care as required and ensure health, safety, and respect • Comply with standards protecting the health and safety of staff, families, and individuals served • Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be at least 18 years of age • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent • Successfully complete a criminal background registry check at time of application • Complete a 40-hour training program conducted by a BACB certificant based on the RBT Task List • Pass the RBT Competency Assessment administered by a BACB certificant • Successfully complete continuing education as necessary to maintain RBT certification • Pay fees required to maintain RBT certification • Reliable transportation • CPR Certification • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge and skill in computer use • Ability and skills to train others • Passion for working with children • Must reside in or near Great Falls, MT
