📋 Description

• Oversee and direct administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise-wide provider credentialing, privileging, and payer enrollment applications • Plan, develop, and direct application development, implementation, and maintenance activities • Ensure integration of provider data with eRecord EHR and other enterprise systems • Drive initiatives improving data integrity, provider lifecycle management, and credentialing and payer enrollment workflows • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of application systems • Lead application enhancements, troubleshooting, and technical support • Manage application lifecycle activities, including planning, deployment, and retirement • Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and staff development • Manage daily operations and maintenance of provider credentialing and payer enrollment applications • Analyze application performance and user needs and communicate reports and recommendations • Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, customers, and stakeholders • Facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes with the Information Systems Division • Maintain compliance with healthcare accreditation and regulatory standards • Develop performance metrics and KPIs and use data analytics for quality improvement • Generate, analyze, and report provider credentialing and data-management findings to leadership • Maintain comprehensive credentialing and provider-data records and IT documentation • Manage IT team operations and projects across URM and regional affiliates • Direct performance evaluations and lead career development, coaching, and mentoring for direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Information Management, or a closely related field preferred • 5 years of relevant healthcare application, provider-data, or credentialing-system experience required • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Strong follow-through skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously required • Managerial courage and willingness to take calculated risks required • Ability to communicate effectively with executives, physicians, nurses, and people with varying levels of technical expertise preferred • Project management experience from planning through implementation preferred • Relational database management and development experience preferred • ETL database process experience preferred • Experience with The Joint Commission, CMS, and other healthcare regulatory agencies preferred • Experience in an academic medical center, health care system, or higher education preferred
