📋 Description

• Lead a small engineering team with direct business impact • Advocate for Account Linking and foster relationships with engineering leaders, product managers, and operations team members • Drive collaboration and help teams use financial account data effectively • Guide architectural decisions and identify investments supporting scalability and maintainability • Define measures for account-connection health and financial-data completeness, accuracy, and freshness • Lead monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis improvements • Own delivery of team commitments and execute a quarterly roadmap • Balance new capabilities, reliability, and long-term system health • Make decisions, remove blockers, communicate progress and risks, and adjust priorities with Product • Participate in RFCs, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving • Evaluate tradeoffs, unblock implementation, and support adoption of agentic software-development practices • Coach engineers, provide actionable feedback, conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews • Build individualized growth plans and create opportunities for engineers to develop

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience shipping production systems • Experience with Node/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Postgres or similar relational database (ideally) • Experience supporting external integrations • Experience driving operational excellence on platform teams • Experience supporting large data sets in production • Experience using observability and root-cause analysis to improve reliability and data quality • At least one year of experience leading an engineering team • Track record of leading senior individual contributors • Experience with FinTech or consumer apps is a plus, but not a requirement • Ability to lead with empathy and curiosity • Pragmatic judgment and ability to turn ambiguous problems into achievable plans • Ability to communicate risks and tradeoffs clearly • Attention to detail, organization, and follow-through • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical partners
